The leaves of Calathea plants come in many different shapes, sizes and colors. They typically have ornately patterned leaves – sometimes, the patterns are so complex that they look almost artificial or painted on! The foliage of Calathea plants is also known for its rich colors. The undersides of leaves are often colored in very bold colors, such as purple.

LIGHT: Medium - Low indirect light.

WATER: Twice a week. The Calathea will droop its leafs when it wants water.

HUMIDITY: Loves to be misted.

TEMPERATURE: Prefers average to warm temperatures, 65-75 degrees.

FOOD: Because the Snake Plant is such an easy plant, It doesn’t need much fertilizer. Once about every 6 months with a balanced indoor plant fertilizer will be perfect.
